GM15 - Fourth of July

This stein was manufactured in 1996 by Gerz for Anheuser-Busch. This dramatic stein displays two patriotic J.C. Leyendecker illustrations created for The Saturday Evening Post. The first, shown on the front of the stein, depicts an American colonist clanging the Liberty Bell. The second, shown on both sides, is a stylized representation of The Statue of Liberty. The pewter lid displays the words "Portrait of America" and is topped with a replica of an easel holding a painting of an eagle's head.
