CS460 - 2000 Sydney American Olympic Team
This stein was manufactured in 2001 by Ceramarte for Anheuser-Busch. Stein commemorates the competitions in Sydney, Australia with a full-color dimensional montage of athletes giving their all from volleyball and the velodrome through classic track and field, swimming, diving and boxing competition. The flags of competing countries are displayed around the top and bottom of the montage. The lid of the stein is pewter, engraved with a laurel wreath and topped with an engraved medallion of the Olympic Rings, commemorating the USA's participation in the Games. The thumbrest is the torch and flame.
