CS431 - The University of Missouri

This stein was manufactured in 2001 by Ceramarte for Anheuser-Busch. This stein features The University of Missouri - in the home state of Anheuser-Busch. A tribute to the oldest university west of the Mississippi River. Landmark campus buildings are beautifully illustrated by artist Don Curran in a full color collage wrapping around the entire body of the stein, including Jesse Hall & "The Columns", Memorial Union, Memorial Stadium & Faurot Field, Clydesdale Hall, Reynolds Alumni Center and Hulston Hall. The top band of the stein details the university mascot, school colors, NCAA and Big XII Conference designation. Circling the bottom of the stein are campus facts, famous landmarks, characters and events. "Old Missouri", the university alma mater, is highlighted in the center of the illustration. The stein includes a pewter base and the pewter lid is carved with an intricate ivy leaf design with a ceramic inlay with the university seal. The pewter thumbrest is the University mark, the Bengal Tiger.
