CB21 - Busch's Inn

This stein was manufactured in 2002 by Ceramarte for Anheuser-Busch. Artist Jim Wainwright illustrates the story of Busch's Inn - the first restraurant opened by the Anheuser-Busch brewery. The stein also shows other neighborhood sights: homes, church steeples, a livery and blacksmith's shop, as well as residents and tradesmen going about their daily business. In honor of the restaurant and its clientele, this stein prominently features two typical Busch's Inn Patrons in work attire alongside the stein's handle. The Inn appears on a ceramic inlay in the stein's pewter lid. This stein was given away free to members of the Collector's Club in 2002.
